Club de Planeadores de Vitacura- Part II

I really enjoy heading over to the airport in Vitacura.  I delight in watching up close the aircraft.  It is amazing to think that these aircraft, once aloft, move solely on the air currents.

The Club de Planeadores de Vitacura hosts annually a Grand Prix sailplane event.  In 2010, they hosted the World Championships.  In January 2011, they hosted a regional qualifier.  Pilots from seven countries competed.
