Yesterday, I visited a preschool that is near the parish: Jardin Infantil: Niños del Futuro. A former teacher from my days as a seminarian at Colegio N.S. de Andacollo (1996) directs the preschool, and she asked me to speak with the children about Lent. The children have a little "altar" in their preschool with a box for placing donations to Catholic Charities here in the Archdiocese of Santiago. The children will walk to the parish sometime around Easter to deliver what they have given.Anytime you are around children, there can be some great photos. I particularly enjoyed these. The prime photo here is of the children singing a song to greet me. In this image, we see five students and a teacher. I particularly like the expressions on the faces of the two boys in the corners.
