“You walked?”

I travel with a small backpack, but it has come to be a metaphor for a philosophy of travel, an “ethos” if you like. I make the distinction here between backpackers who travel in a variety of international settings from those who trek, hike or take wilderness trips and may carry tents and cooking gear..............................
